SCHROEPPEL – On Thursday (June 9), approximately 2:03 p.m., State Police stopped a speeding vehicle on State Route 481 in the town of Schroeppel.

Investigation at the scene revealed the operator, Adam R. Casey, 30, of 601 Middle Road, Oswego, was allegedly intoxicated.
He was also found to be in possession of several Alprazolam pills without a valid prescription, police said.
Casey was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class “A” misdemeanor.
He was arraigned in the Town of Schroeppel Court and is scheduled to return on June 15, at 5:30 p.m.
