Oswego Man Facing Sex Abuse Charge

OSWEGO – On Jan. 3 at 6:28 p.m., Joshua C. Simmons, 19, of 40 Butternut Drive, Oswego, was arrested for two counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance, a class E felony and first-degree sex abuse, a class D felony.
The arrest stems from the investigation into two separate incidents that occurred in the town of Minetto.
He allegedly photographed the victim’s bare breast as the victim slept along with making a video recording of himself removing the victim’s clothing then rubbing the victim’s breast as they slept.
Mr. Simmons was arraigned in the Town of Hannibal Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
He is to return to Minetto Town Court on Feb. 7.
