OSWEGO, NY – At approximately 12:52 a.m. today (March 14), the Oswego City Police Department responded with Oswego Fire Department’s Emergency Medical Services to Mercer Street near 10 ½ Street on the city’s eastside.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered a 44-year-old woman, later identified as Sherri A. Parkhurst of Oswego, with what appeared to be severe head injuries.
The victim was transported to Oswego Hospital by Oswego Ambulance where she was later pronounced dead.
Police are investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
They are asking anyone who may have information to contact Oswego Police at (315) 342-8120.
