OSWEGO, NY – A Pennsylvania man is facing charges after allegedly breaking into a Scriba residence’s garage.

On Wednesday at 3:29 p.m., Leif T. Adkins, 34, of Lincoln Hwy. E Bldg. 3567, Kinzers, Pa., was arrested at the OCJ for third-degree grand larceny and third-degree burglary, both class D felonies.
The charges stem from the investigation into an incident that occurred in the town of Scriba when he allegedly entered a detached garage and stole a 1999 Buick Park Avenue along with numerous tools from within the garage on Jan. 25, according to the sheriff’s office.
Mr. Adkins was arraigned in the Town of Scriba court by Hon. Judge Adkins and remanded back to OCJ held without bail.
He is to return to court on April 5.
