For its traditional fourth Friday in June Summer Strawberry Festival celebration, Phoenix residents and nearby community members flocked by the hundreds to the village’s downtown along the Oswego River Canal and Henley Park to enjoy the festivities and the fireworks finale.
The annual festival, sponsored by St. Stephen’s church, drew folks near and far to enjoy chicken dinners and all things strawberry.
Fulton’s Elks Lodge on Pierce Drive, will hold its annual Strawberry Social at noon – 4 p.m. today (June 28).
For those interested in picking, or just picking-up local strawberries, the fields are open at Ferlito’s Berry Patch and Roadside Market on Route 53, in Scriba and Behling Orchards on Potter Road, in Mexico.
