SCRIBA, NY – A Scriba business was damaged Monday night following a motor vehicle accident.

According to sheriff’s deputies, at 7:05 p.m., Jeffrey S. Rose, 29, of Bentley Road, Bldg. 11855, of Clyde, NY, was arrested for DWI; Aggravated DWI, a class E felony (prior DWI arrest on 7/26/06 in the town of Galen); unlawful possession of marijuana and fourth-degree criminal mischief following a one-vehicle MVA in the town of Scriba on Route 104.

He reportedly drove his 1999 Chevrolet pickup into the Scriba Town Inn causing damage to the front of the building and the interior.

No injuries were reported.

Mr. Rose was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash/bond bail.

He is to appear in court on Jan. 5, 2012.
