OSWEGO TOWN, NY – SUNY Oswego University Police charged an 18-year-old Brooklyn resident with illegally using her roommate’s credit card to make long-distance calls.

Police charged Breyarna T. Billings, of Quincy Street in Brooklyn, with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a Class E felony, and petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor.

Billings’ roommate in Cayuga Hall noticed and reported suspicious transactions on her card, which led to the investigation and arrest, police said.

The total reported charged transactions amounted to $31.25 in out-of-state calls.

Billings was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Oswego Town Count on Nov. 5.
