Public Hearing on Local Charter School Scheduled for August 8

OSWEGO, NY – On August 8, at noon, in the Education Center’s second floor Curriculum Room a public hearing will be conducted in relation to the proposed Renaissance Charter School, which is being created within the boundaries of the Oswego City School District.

Superintendent of Schools William Crist is required to schedule a public hearing in relation to the Renaissance Charter School.

The public hearing will commence at noon and public comments will be accepted during the hearing with the information to be forwarded to the New York State Education Department as well as to the State University of New York Charter Schools Institute.

The Renaissance Charter School of Oswego application was submitted by the July 2 deadline.
