Sandy Creek Man Charged With Sex Abuse

OSWEGO, NY – A Sandy Creek man is behind bars, facing sex abuse charges.
On Aug. 5 at 1:02 p.m., Nykolus G. Burnett, 23, of 16 Franklin St., Apt. 10, Sandy Creek, was arrested for first-degree sex abuse, a class D felony and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident that occurred in a parking lot in the town of Sandy Creek, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Burnett allegedly engaged in sexual contact with the victim being less than 13 years of age.
He was arraigned in Sandy Creek Town Court by Hon. Judge Crast and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond .
He is to return to court on Sept. 3.
