SCRIBA – State Police in Fulton charged Jamie M. Bigwitch, 37, of County Route 4 Oswego (Scriba), with felony Driving While Intoxicated under Leandra’s Law.

On Sunday, March 25, Troopers stopped a speeding vehicle on County Route 4 in Scriba.
Troopers determined the operator, Jamie M. Bigwitch, 37, of Scriba, was intoxicated, while traveling with a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle.
Bigwitch was taken into custody and charged with felony Driving While Intoxicated due to a prior conviction within 10 years, felony Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a child less than 16 years old under Leandra’s Law, felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, both class “A” misdemeanors, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation, and several vehicle and traffic law violations.
Bigwitch was arraigned in Volney Town Court, and remanded to the Oswego County Justice Center in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 secure bond.
She is scheduled to return to Scriba town court on April 12.
