LYSANDER – State Police in Lysander are investigating a three-car crash that occurred this morning (Oct. 18) on State Route 48 (Oswego Road) in the town of Lysander.
The investigation revealed a 2009 Chevrolet pickup and a 2011 Hyundai were traveling south on State Route 48 when a 2014 Chevrolet failed to yield the right of way by attempting to turn left from State Route 48 onto Short Cut Road and striking the pickup truck.
The pickup truck was then struck from behind by the Hyundai which causes the pickup truck to travel off the roadway and come to rest on the property of 9477 Oswego Road fully engulfed in fire.
The driver of the pickup truck, 58-year-old Roger E. Clark, from Oswego, was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai, Star Moran, 44, from Fulton, was not injured.
The driver of the 2014 Chevrolet, 34-year-old, Daniel A. Ramsey, from Cato, was also taken to SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ramsey was issued a traffic summons for failure to yield the right of way when making a left turn.
