University Police Makes Felony Arrests

OSWEGO – After a lengthy investigation, University Police at SUNY Oswego arrested two students for criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree, both felonies.

Shawn J. Abbey and Jaden I. Gaffney, both with Brooklyn home addresses, are also charged with identity theft, petit larceny and attempted petit larceny, all misdemeanors.

They are scheduled to appear in Oswego Town Court on Jan. 29 to answer all charges.
