OSWEGO – Oswego Firefighters were alerted of a structure fire at 9 Porter St. on the city’s west side a little after 10 p.m. Saturday (November 3).
Police reported the building fully involved and heavy winds pushing flames toward a neighboring home.
On arrival, companies found a vacant one-story single family home heavily involved with fire.
Strong winds and heavy gusts made for challenging work.
A cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
No injuries have been reported.
Oswego Police and Menter Ambulance assisted at the scene.
Oswego Town and Scriba Firefighters assisted with city coverage until firefighters were clear of the scene.
