Viking Ship Headed To Albany

OSWEGO – The Viking ship, Draken Harald Hårfagre, is entering the Oswego Canal today (Aug. 29) and will journey through to the Barge Canal system making its way to Albany.

From there it will follow the Hudson River to New York City.

The ship had a very successful visit in the city of Oswego at the H. Lee White Maritime Museum this past Sunday, with more than 2,600 visitors at the west pier to see the ship.
