Voting Results

• DelConte surged into fourth place to claim a spot as New York State Supreme Court Justice. Brandt, however, slipped to fifth place and failed to earn a seat.
• In the 130th Assembly District Bob Oaks didn’t seek re-election. It appears as fellow Republican Brian D. Manktelow will be the new representative for the district, which includes western sections of Oswego County. Scott Comegys ran on the Democratic, and Working Families lines.
• Katko is projected to be the winner in the 24th District
• It seems Brindisi has ousted Tenney. He is receiving
  congratulations from several groups, addressed to
  “Congressman-Elect” Brindisi.
• At 11 p.m., Barclay has a comfortable 13,295 – 6,793 lead
  over Tosh.
• 10:45 p.m.:As predicted, Brindisi and Tenney are in a tight race. He still maintains a slim lead.
• Allison Nelson received 6,005 votes to Thomas Benedetto’s
  1,492 in the race for Oswego County Family Court Judge.
• Scott DelConte is looking strong in his bid for one of four seats for State Supreme Court Justice.- He is currently in fifth place. Karen Brandt currently has the second-most votes. He remains in fifth while she slipped to third around 11:30 p.m.
• 10:15 p.m.: Assemblyman Will Barclay (120th District), Republican,
  nearly doubled Democrat challenger Gail Tosh, 4,093 to
  2,492, in Oswego County.
• Incumbent Republican Congressman John Katko (District
  24) has topped Democrat challenger Dana Balter 4,685 to
  3,805 at the polls in Oswego County. With more than 70% of the votes in, Katko has a more than 12,000 vite advantage at 11 p.m..
• 10 p.m.: Anthony Brindisi, Democrat, has moved out to an
  early lead over Incumbent Claudia Tenney, Republican, in the race for the 22nd District Congressional seat
• 9:30 p.m.: ABC News is projecting wins for both Gov.
  Andrew Cuomo and US Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand

 

OSWEGO COUNTY, NY – As the polls close at 9 p.m., we’re certain that Don Hilton will be the next Oswego County Sheriff; Paul House will continue to serve as the County Legislator representing District 8; and Patty Ritchie is still State Senator for the 48th District.

The three were unopposed in their election bids.

Now, the wait begins as the results of various other elections of local merit begin to trickle in.
