Williamstown Man Arrested for DWAI-Drugs, Reckless Driving

On Sunday (April 17), Billy Redden, 19, of Williamstown, was arrested by NY State Police – Hastings and charged with DWAI-Drugs, Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle, Marijuana Possession and Reckless Driving in the town of Amboy.
The vehicle Redden was operating collided with a tree as he attempted to evade a State Trooper on Mellon Road.
Redden was transported to Upstate Hospital in Syracuse and treated for injuries suffered in the collision.
Once released from the hospital, Redden was processed and arraigned in Amboy Town Court.
A return court date was set for May 10.
