Winter Travel Advisory Lifted In City of Oswego

by Submitted article | March 13, 2014 11:50 am

OSWEGO, NY – At 10 a.m. today (March 13), Mayor Thomas W. Gillen lifted the Travel Advisory in the city of Oswego, which was imposed on Wednesday afternoon, due to the heavy snow and white-out conditions in our immediate area.

Motorists are strongly encouraged not to park on city streets if off-street parking is available to them; this will enable our DPW crews to more effectively clear the streets of snow.

They are also reminded that the alternate side parking restrictions continue to remain in effect between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Violators of the alternate side parking restrictions will be ticketed and may be towed.
