Winter Wonderland

We finally got our snow… and the cold.

Dick Drosse sent along two different views of the winter weather.

Above is a photo taken along the trail adjacent to the Oswego River, by Battle Island Golf Course.

His wife, Naneen, can be seen skiing beneath a canopy of snow.

Below is Sunday’s sunrise with an upward flare.

It’s called: solaror sun or light pillar, caused by ice crystals in the air.
