OSWEGO COUNTY – Late last night, June 23, the Oswego County Board of Elections released the in-person voting results for the 2020 Primary Election, however, the results do not include the absentee ballots yet.

Several people across the state voted via absentee ballot this year due to the pandemic and an executive order[1] by Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The in-person voting results are as follows –

U.S. President:

Delegates for the Democratic National Convention, Congressional District 22:

Delegates for the Democratic National Convention, Congressional District 24:

Total – 5,079, 100.00%

“I am very pleased with the amount of support that Vice President Biden received in yesterday’s in person primary vote. But this year, due to this pandemic, the majority of votes cast were by mail/absentee. That is how I voted this year, and they will be counted next week,” Candidate Dan Farfaglia said. “Although yesterday’s results is only a fraction of the total amount of votes cast, I am very optimistic that Vice President Biden will still be the winner in this Congressional District when the votes are counted.  This puts him in a very good position for the general election in November.”

Representative in Congress, Congressional District 24:

Total – 950, 100.00%

Representative in Congress, Congressional District 22:

Total – 1,555, 100.00%

Member of State Conservative Committee, Congressional District 24:

Total – 329, 100.00%
The results after the absentee ballots have been counted will be reported when those numbers are released.
