OSWEGO – St. Luke Health Services in Oswego announces the appointment of Nicole Greenier to the position of volunteer coordinator. As volunteer coordinator, Greenier will be responsible for coordinating St. Luke’s Volunteer Program which numbers more than eighty participants.
“Volunteers are involved in, and an important part of the many programs and outings provided for St. Luke residents,” said Greenier. “Working with volunteers of all ages is a rewarding challenge and I am glad to be a part of the St. Luke family.”
Greenier previously worked in the St. Luke Activity Department for the past eight years.
“Becoming a volunteer is an easy process,” said Greenier. “We are able to accommodate individual schedules and you are able to volunteer as much as you schedule allows and or diverse activities schedule means that there is a wide variety of opportunities.”
“We are fortunate to have someone with her experience and professionalism working with one of our most valuable resources, our volunteers,” noted Donna Rose, Director of Activities at St. Luke. Nicole is well known to our volunteers and she brings a wonderful level of energy to her new position.”
“I am always impressed with the level of caring and involvement our volunteers display towards residents on a daily basis,” observed Greenier. “Likewise, it is an important part of my job to make sure our volunteers understand just how important they are to our organization.”
