The North Volney United Methodist Church will hold a public supper on Thursday, Sept 15, featuring scalloped potatoes and ham. The supper starts at 4:30 and take outs are available. Homemade pies are featured for dessert.
Also on hand for the evening will be personnel from Oswego Health. They will do blood pressure checks for those who would like to keep track between doctor visits. If you don’t have regular visits to a doctor, this is a good way to make sure your are taking care of this important part of your health program. For those interested inthe Lifeline program, there will be someone who can explain how it works and benefits those in need. For a small monthly fee, a person with LIfeline can summon help in time of crisis.
In addition, there will be someone from Seneca Manor to discuss adult daycare. This is a program available to those in need in Oswego County and it is authorized for veterans as well. All of these folks will be on hand with information you can take with you as well as answer any quesitons you may have.
Come for a good meal out with friends and speak with the health personnel regarding any questions you may have at this min-health fair. The church is located at the corners of County Routes 4 and 6 in the Town of Volney and is handicapped accessible.
