Novelis Returns for 14th Season as Headlining Sponsor of Oswego’s Supermodifieds

OSWEGO, NY – For the 14th consecutive season, Novelis Aluminum has returned as the main sponsor of Oswego Speedway’s trademark non-wing Supermodified division.

The worldwide leader of rolled aluminum products which delivers unique solutions for the most demanding global applications such as beverage cans, automobiles, architecture, and consumer electronics, Novelis brings several special events and added privileges to Oswego Speedway and its fan base, including the Novelis Fan Chase, which will return in 2018.

We look forward to the 2018 season and building on the 1.3 million recycled can total we’ve amassed since 2005.”

Oswego’s Novelis Supermodifieds will kick off the 2018 season on May 26 with the first -ver running of the Jim Shampine Memorial Twin 50s before a regular 50-lap main and Twin 35s lead the division’s ‘Road to the Championship’ into the month of June.

Tickets for Oswego Speedway’s 68th consecutive season of action are now on sale for regular shows as well as the 62nd running of Budweiser International Classic Weekend, with season ticket and camping packages to be announced.
