Doris Draper Jodway, 87, of Fulton passed away Sunday at home.
A native of Granby, she was a life resident of the area. Doris had worked at Nestle Company, Comstock Foods and Birdseye Foods for several years. She was a past member of the Fulton V.F.W. Post 569. She was a communicant of The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Fulton. For several years, Doris traveled to South Carolina to visit her brother and sister-in-law and family. Doris enjoyed camping.
She was predeceased by a son, Gene Jodway; a granddaughter, Doreen Jodway; a brother, Ralph and a sister, Bernice. Surviving are: her husband, Leon Jodway; seven children, Larry Jodway, Darryl Jodway, Wanda Richards, Dennis Jodway, Vicki Jodway, Steven Jodway and Jacqueline Jodway; a sister, Avis Blasczienski; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
