Anglynn “Lynn” Marie Duttinger, 68, of Chesapeake, Va., beloved mother and grandmother, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Tuesday December 12, 2017.
Lynn relocated to Chesapeake from upstate New York in 2011 after the passing of her beloved husband, Robert.
She was born to Samuel Joseph and Mary Dorothy (Rizzo) DiGuardi on February 22, 1949.
She was a graduate of Greece Arcadia High School in Rochester, NY, and held a degree in Radiology Technology from the University of Rochester, eventually retiring as a radiology administrator for the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
Lynn was predeceased by her husband, Robert Charles; her parents, Samuel and Mary; and her older brother, Robert.
Left to carry on her legacy of love and compassion are her children, Carolyn (Eric), Chrissa (Todd), Robert Jr. (Lynette) and Sarah (Jeffrey); as well as several grandchildren, Abigail, Adam, Alexander, Desiree, Eleanor, Jamison, Jordan, Juliana, Logan, Mathew, Nicholas that absolutely adored her.
She also leaves behind one younger brother, Scott, of Ohio.
A memorial mass in her honor will be held on December 21, at 10 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Chesapeake.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made as donations to the Ronald McDonald House.
