FULTON, NY – Charlotte Thompson, 85, of Bakeman Street, Fulton, died Saturday Aug. 23, 2008, at Sunrise Nursing Home, Oswego, after a long illness.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Fulton and she has been a resident of the Hannibal and Fulton areas all of her life.
She was past employed with the Hannibal School District at Fairley Elementary as a lunch lady, and she worked for Oswego Hospital as a home health aide.
Mrs. Thompson was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.
She was predeceased by her husband, Milford “Tom†Thompson.
She is survived by her children: Gay Anne (Cornelius) Donahue of Hannibal, Sandra (James) Long of Sterling, Lee (Robin) McMillen, Tina Allen, and Ray (Sherry) McMillen all of Hannibal; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her faithful feline companion, Chance.
Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Bible Church.
There will be no calling hours.
Burial will be private.

Arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
