Christine Gail Sheedy, 50, a former Phoenix resident, died Wednesday, May 28 at Westchester County Hospital after a brief illness.She was a resident of Hicksville, Long Island. Sheedy had graduated from the J.C. Birdlebough High School in Phoenix, and Hostra Uniondale University. She was a school teacher at Carmen Road School.

Sheedy is survived by her month, Alice T. Allen of Phoenix’ sons, Thomas D. Sheedy III and Patrick S. Sheedy, both of Hicksville; a brother, Timothy Allen of Phoenix; a sister, Donna Bill of Baldwinsville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services are planned for 8:45 a.m., Monday at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Church, Bridge Street, Phoenix. Burial will be at Phoenix Rural Cemetery.
