Elwin “Al” Eichmann, 91

Elwin “Al” Eichmann, 91 of Fulton passed away Thursday in Georgia.

Born in Wisconsin he was a long time resident of Fulton.  Al was the owner – operator of Al Eichmann Plumbing and Heating for more than 40 years.  He was a member of State Street United Methodist Church, where he had severed on the Board of Trustees.  He was also a member of the Town of Granby Zoning Board and Hiram Lodge #144, F. & A.M., Fulton.  Al was also a past member of the Fulton Kiwanis Club.  For several years he was active in fast and slow pitch softball and enjoyed hockey.  Al was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Virginia “Ginny” Eichmann who died in 2003.

Surviving: three daughters, Laurie Weir of Georgia, Mary Rios of Kingston and Lisa Schremp of Fulton; two sons, Steven Eichmann of Pennellville and David Eichmann of Fulton; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Thursday 10 a.m. at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton.  Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
