Emily L. Griffith, 72

Emily L. Griffith, 72, of Hannibal, passed away Saturday evening.

Born in Fulton, she was a long time resident of the area.  Emily retired in 2004 from Oswego Industries, Fulton.  She enjoyed sewing and hand making crafts and jewelry.

Emily was predeceased by as son, Patrick “Buzzy” DeForest.

Surviving: children, James DeForest, Deborah Mansfield, Alan DeForest, Coleen DeForest and Charlene Griffith; mother, Helen Allen; six siblings; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; beloved cats, Sam and Gracie; nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Emily’s life will be 7 p.m., Monday, August 11th at Martville United Methodist Church, Cut Off Rd., Martville.  Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal has charge of arrangements.
