Eugene V. “Gene†Lamie, 47, of Hannibal, died Saturday at home.
Born in Fulton, he was a life resident of Hannibal. Gene was self employed. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Gene loved music, especially heavy metal. He was the favorite uncle to all of his nieces and nephews.
Gene was predeceased by his father, Joseph Lamie, who died in 1984 and by his mother, Agnes Lamie, who died in 2004.
Surviving: three sisters, Pat (Dean) Burdick of Volney, Karen (Richard) Wilson and Shirley Baker all of Hannibal; five brothers, Joseph, Don, Ron (Vicki) and Keith Lamie all of Hannibal and Kevin (Shirley) Lamie of Fulton; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday with a 7 p.m. service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal.
