Janet Cooper

PHOENIX, NY – On December 5^th, 2024, our beloved mother Janet Cooper passed suddenly in her sleep at 86 years young. Leaving behind five children, Peggy (Dan) Fiorini, Patty (Jerry) Cormier; Tom (Kelly) Temple, Ted Temple, and Tim Palmer; eight grandchildren, Michelle, Mandy, Nicole, Danni, Maire, Alexis, Daniel, Gina, several grandchildren, her partner Bill Kimball, thousands of memories and all of you who have shared in them. We know you share our deep grief, and shock. Janet joins her late husband Roy Cooper and all those we have lost along the way in eternal peace, in everlasting rest. We are arranging a private family service and interment in Arlington National Cemetery beside Roy, as per Janet’s wishes.

She would not want us to spend too long on tears, instead I think she would want us to embrace each other. Janet was never happier than in those moments, especially sharing them across a hand of Gin, (Card game). And if some of us are inspired to pull the lever on a slot machine in her honor, I’m sure she wouldn’t mind, and will send you luck.
