PHOENIX, NY – Lloyd Matthew Beeman, 89, of Phoenix, NY, passed away on Monday July 31, 2017, after a brief stay at the Manor at Seneca Hill, Inc. in the town of Volney.
He was born to his late parents, Eva (Dibbles) Beeman and Lloyd Beeman on October 28, 1927, in Fulton, NY.
Lloyd served his country in the U. S. Navy, from 1945 to 1946.
He was a machinist for the Phoenix Gage Company in Phoenix, NY, for many years.
Lloyd’s favorite hobby was putting together model cars, as well as being an avid fisherman.
Lloyd was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude E. (Weichmann) Beeman, who passed away on April 12, 2014.
Surviving are his children, four sons, Lloyd M. (Sharon) Beeman, Dale Beeman, Michael L. Beeman and Steven Beeman and three daughters, Linda Bird, Jean (Jake) Melcahior and Traudi (Rick) Ashby; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
There are no services or calling hours.
