FULTON – Richard D. “Mr. Mike” Frawley, 94, passed away on Sunday November 20, 2022 at the Morningstar Care Center, Oswego, New York.
Born on March 25, 1928 to his late parents, Lucille (Terpening) and Laten Frawley in Baldwinsville, New York. A longtime resident of Fulton, New York, Dick served in the United State Marine Corps from May of 1946 through June of 1951, attaining the rank of gunnery Sergeant.
Dick was the owner/operator of Mr. Mike’s Fast Food in Phoenix, New York, for many years, located on State Street and then moved to the 3 Rivers Plaza where he and Bonnie continued running the restaurant. Mr. Mike owned Arabian Horses, enjoyed boating, fishing, and hunting. and was an SU sports fan.
Surviving are his children Donald (Charlene) Frawley of Wildwood, MO, Cheryl (Marty) Lamirande of Fulton, Jack L. (Sharen) Frawley of Sarasota, FL, Bonnie (Vern) MacDougall of Brewerton, Tammy (Dale) Craig of Hannibal, and Michael J. (Theresa) Frawley of Fulton; several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and friends.
Calling hours are on Wednesday November 23, 2022 from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY. His funeral service will be at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Hodge officiating.
Burial in the spring of 2023 with military honors.
