FULTON – September 3, 2025, Calvin “Lee” Hall, 74, of Volney passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 3, 2025 in the home that he built for his family. He was born in Fulton on February 3, 1951 to Clinton and Arlene Hall. Lee was employed as a truck driver with the Teamsters Local #317, Syracuse for 35 years working 28 of those years for Northern Concrete and 7 years at Burns Brothers. He was a member of the Country Cruisers and enjoyed restoring classic cars. He would show his 1934 Ford Sedan Delivery at local cars shows including the Syracuse Nationals which was an annual event for him and his grandchildren. Lee, Bill Orr, Jim and Jan Poyneer started the car show and sock hops which drew large crowds at Sweet Inspirations on Route 3. He was a former member of the Volney Volunteer Fire Department and was an avid deer hunter. He spent many years following Fulton Wrestling throughout the area took pride watching his son and grandson wrestle. Lee’s greatest joy in life was his family of which he was extremely proud.
He is survived by his children, Michelle (Doug Upton) Cornelius, Jennifer Hall, David (Sally) Hall and Carrie (Spencer) King; his former wife, Barb Hall; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; his brothers, Francis “Butch” Hall and Clinton Hall as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Milton “Pudge” Hartle, Roy Hartle and David Hall.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, September 7, 2025 with services to follow at Brown Funeral Home, 21 Flood Drive in Fulton.
