Mary Ann Gill

OSWEGO, NY – Mary Ann Gill of Oswego passed away Tuesday morning December 5, 2017, at Bishop’s Commons.

She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late William and Maurine McLaughlin Gill.

Mary Ann retired in 2016 from Oswego State University after 30 years of service in the finance office.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandsons and she cherished the time spent with family and her friends from the college.

She is survived by her grandsons, Landon Brown of Oswego and Michael Woodard of Pennsylvania; her brother, Donald Gill; and sister, Catherine Gill, both of Oswego; a special friend, Tanya VanBuren of Oswego; two nephews, Michael Gill and Matthew Gill; and her son, William Woodard of Pennsylvania.

Calling hours will be Thursday 4-6 p.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with a service to follow at 6 p.m.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the John Foster Burden Fund c/o St. Luke Health Services, 299 East River Road, Oswego, NY 13126.
