Beth K. Sherman, 72

OSWEGO, NY – Beth K. Sherman, 72, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Thursday October 5, 2017, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Kendall) Gilmore.

She was a graduate of the Mount Helen School in Schenectady and received her teaching degree from SUNY Oswego.

Beth was employed as a substitute teacher with the Oswego City School District.

She was also employed with the Coffee Connection and Wayne’s Drugs and was a proud band parent.

Surviving are her two sons, Christopher (Bridget) Sherman of Ohio and Gregory (Meredith) Sherman of New York; and a grandson, Peter Sherman.

She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Sherman of Oswego; and her brother, Robert Gilmore of Schenectady.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday at noon from the Dowdle Funeral Home with a calling from 11 a.m. – noon prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
