OSWEGO, NY – Donald H. Case, 91, a resident of the town of Oswego, passed away on Thursday May 24, 2018, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Phelps, NY, he was a son of the late Charles and Bessie Mae (Gleason) Case and had attended Newark schools.
Mr. Case was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in both World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He was the groundskeeper at Hamilton Homes for more than 25 years.
He was a member of the DAV, VFW #5885 and the American Legion #268.
Donald was an active member of St. Mary’s Church.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, the former Marcia Palumbo; two daughters, Jeanne Roche and Donna Gruschow; a sister, Edith Ryan; four step-children, Nikki Bunger, Gina McMullen, Tony Azzarelli and Patricia Mahaney; two grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and his two dogs.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Frances Case, in 1986; and several brothers and sisters.
There are no funeral services or calling hours.
Arrangements are in care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
