Flora M. Monette, 96

OSWEGO, NY – Flora M. Monette, 96, a former resident of East Seneca Street passed away on Tuesday July 24, 2012, at St.Luke Health Services.

Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Thompson) Monette.

She was a graduate of St. Paul’s School, Oswego High School and the Rochester Dental Dispensary.

Flora was a dental hygienist for Dr. Walpole, Dr. Diblasi and Dr. Weigelt.

Most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with her family.

Surviving are her niece, Barbara Monette; and nephews, Mike, Leo and Greg Monette.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Clara Compton and Mary Monette; three brothers, Foster, Leo and Albert Monette; and her niece, Lauri Monette.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Paul’s Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Thrusday from 5-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
