Jeanine A. Babcock, 49

OSWEGO, NY – Jeanine A. Babcock, 49, a resident of 223 1/2 Syracuse Ave., passed away on Sunday Oct. 9, 2011.

Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of Henry O. and Jean (Lass) Babcock of Oswego and was a graduate of Oswego High School.

She had been employed with the Oswego Jamesway store and later worked for P & C for many years.

Jeanine’s life was her family, and she enjoyed spending time with a devoted circle of friends.

Surviving beside her parents are her daughter, Kerry Babcock of Oswego; two brothers, Tim (Debbie) Babcock of Scriba and Gary (Chris) Babcock of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m.  from St. Peter’s Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Oswego County Hospice, P.O. Box 102, Oswego NY 13126.
