OSWEGO, NY – Judith A. Furnari, 37, a resident of 245 E. Eighth St., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday Feb. 3, 2011, at her home.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of James and Shirley (Haws) Furnari of Oswego.

She was a graduate of St. Paul’s Academy (now Trinity Catholic School) and Bishop Cunningham High School, Class of 1991.
She was also a graduate of both Oswego State and Syracuse University, while earning a Master’s Degree from each.
Judy had been employed as a librarian with the Oswego City School District and later with Hannibal schools.
She enjoyed music, gardening and photography and loved to draw and create her own art.
Judy had a special love for all animals.
Beside her parents, Judy is survived by two sisters, Sandra (David) Birdsell of Palermo and Shari (James) North of Oswego; a niece, Becca North; a nephew, David Birdsell Jr.; and two great-nieces.
She is also survived by her fiancé, Larry Bond.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
Spring burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
