OSWEGO, NY – Leanore Lucas, 83, a resident of 89 Curtis St., Fulton, passed away on Thursday Dec. 9, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born in Syracuse, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Stoluski) Rubinstein and had attended Syracuse schools.
She was employed with the State University of Oswego for more than 20 years and was a member of the CSEA.
Mrs. Lucas enjoyed going to the casino.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie (Lucas) Chambers of Fulton and Robin (Lucas) Bolton of Oswego; two grandchildren, Joshua and Cierra Bolton; a sister, Audrey Epstien of Arizona; and a son-in-law, Jim Cannon.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Lucas, on Nov. 8, 2004.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. from the Dowdle Funeral Home with calling hours from 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
