OSWEGO, NY – Mary Louise (Weasie) Dashnau, 90, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Wednesday March 20, 2019, at the Seneca Hill Manor.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late Archibald and Marguerite (Perkins) Nihoff and had attended Oswego schools.
Surviving are her children, Patricia Farnell, Sidney (Colleen) Dashnau, Duane (Jo) Dashnau and Janice (Jim) Coniski; six granddaughters, Kimberly (Vinny) Christopher, Amy (Brett) Kozlowski, Jennifer (Michael) Dashnau-Brown, Heather (Panos)
She was predeceased by her husband, Sidney Dashnau, in 2009; son-in-law, Al Farnell, in 2015; and her siblings, Frederick Nihoff in 1994, Dorothy James in 2001 and Michael Nihoff in 1992.
The family would like to thank Dr. Stephens and his staff for their care and support for mom, Oswego County Hospice, and the second floor staff at Seneca Hill Manor.
The family would also like to thank Maddy, Val, Kim, Ruth, Karen and Rachel for the care they provided to mom while she was at home.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. with a service to follow the hours.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
