FULTON, NY – Alfred D. “Fred” Bevacqua, 88, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born to Constantino and Catherine Raneari Bevacqua and remained a life resident of Fulton.

Fred was a veteran of the Army serving during the Korean Conflict as a medic.

He owned and operated Mr. Mike’s Seafood in Fulton for more than 50 years.

Fred enjoyed going to the casino and bowling during his younger years.

He was the past president of the Fulton Kiwanis Club.

Fred was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia Bevacqua, in 1993; two daughters, Cheryl Hanzlian and Christine Colucci; and siblings, Frank Bevacqua, Mary Place and Matt Bevacqua.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; three sons, John Bevacqua of California, Dave (Kerri) Bevacqua of Georgia and Gary (Rebecca) Bevacqua of Fulton; two stepchildren, John (Kristina) O’Connor and Amy Fink; 11 grandchildren, Mariah, Danielle, Kristin, Kayla, Katie, Fred, Olivia, Nora, Rachel, Sean and Patrick; one sister, Tina Firenze; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, October 14, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, October 15, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery, East Broadway, Fulton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of Oswego County Hospice, P.O. Box 102, Oswego, New York 13126-0102 in Fred’s memory.
