HANNIBAL, NY – Anthony J. Despaw, 47, of Hannibal, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 12, 2017, at home.
He was born on November 19, 1969, in Potsdam.
Tony enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, boating and snowmobiling.
He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Tony was predeceased by his mother, Pauline Buckley; and two brothers, Robert and Gary.
He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife, Lynn; two children, Christa (Robert) Leonard of Hannibal and Ryan Despaw of Hannibal; five grandchildren, Zachary, Evan, Kailynn, Aubrey and Isabelle; three sisters, Sally Despaw, Kathleen (Bob) Christy and Mary (Steve) Sunkel; five brothers, Dwight (Andrea) Despaw, Roger Despaw, John (Pauline) Paul and Steven; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. January 17 at the funeral home.
For those wishing, contributions may be made to the family in Tony’s memory.
