FULTON, NY – Antoinette A. Blair, 91, of Fulton, formerly of Sandy Creek, passed away on Friday May 27, 2016, at Morningstar Care Center in Oswego.
A native of Utica, she was one of 11 children to the late Stanley and Sophie Kondzielawa.
Antoinette raised her family in Mexico and lived in Sandy Creek for many years before moving to Fulton in 2008.
She retired in 1974 after working for 35 years as a government inspector at General Electric in Liverpool.
Antoinette was a communicant of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fulton.
She was predeceased by her husband, Victor G. Blair Sr., who died November 7, 1999; and a daughter, Carlotta S. Blair, who died May 14, 1994.
Surviving are a daughter, Sheila S. (Ray) Panek of Syracuse; a son, Victor G. (Theresa) Blair Jr. of Oswego; a sister, Gladys Radley of Utica; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 910 Fay St., Fulton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at Holy Trinity Church, corner of Rochester and South Third streets, Fulton, with burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery, 1500 Champlin Ave., Utica.
