Bernard P. Hammond, Sr., 83, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday at home after a long illness.
He retired from Armstrong World Industries in Volney. Bernie was a Navy veteran of World War II and was an avid hunter.
He is survived by fiancé, Charlene Neyhart; sons, Mike (Gail), John and Bernie; daughters, Cecil and Amy (Clay); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At Bernie’s request, there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be private.
Contributions in memory of Bernie, may be made to Friends of Oswego Co. Hospice, P.O. Box 102, Oswego, NY 13126. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of arrangements.
