HANNIBAL, NY – Carla Hewitt, 57, of Red Creek, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
A native of California, she had resided in Sterling prior to Red Creek.
Carla had worked at Welch Allyn, Inc., in Skaneateles Falls and as a waitress at Granny & Honey’s in Fair Haven.
Surviving are her children, Angela (Sam Simmons) Newman of Sterling and Ernest Roberts of Cato; four grandchildren, Kendra, Virgil, Eric and Ethan; sister, Lillian Libey of California; close friends, Marion and Russ Patchen; and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal, with services immediately following.
Burial will be at Hannibal Village Cemetery in Hannibal.
