Carmen “Carmelo” Garcia, 41, of Fulton died unexpectedly Friday due to a work accident.
He was born in Santa Agueda, Pinal County, Mexico and lived in Fulton for the past nine years.
Carmelo loved spending time with his family especially his boys, Emilio and Mateo, whom he loved dearly. He was a proud father and spent every possible moment together with them. Carmelo enjoyed being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Linda Garcia; his two sons, Emilio and Mateo Garcia all of Fulton; his mother, Teresa Zuniga of Mexico; six brothers, Soltero, Ventura, Jose, Longino, Benjamin and Daniel; three sisters, Linda, Lola and Reyna; several nieces and nephews. Carmelo was predeceased by his father, Margarito Garcia.
Calling hours are 12 noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011 with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
