FULTON, NY – Carol Finter Fleming, 82, of Stroudsburg, Pa., formerly of Fulton, died on Friday September 4, 2015, while under hospice care at home.
Born in Fulton to the late Charles and Eliza Hubbard Finter, Carol had resided in Monroe County, Pa., since 1970.
Carol retired as branch manager from Northeast Penn AAA in 2000 and was a former member of the Pocono Mountains Chamber of Commerce.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert T. Fleming, in 2008; and by her brother, Lt. Colonel George Finter, who died in Vietnam.
Surviving are a son, Timothy Fleming and his fiancée, Denise Hayes of Stroudsburg, Pa.; a stepson, Robert Fleming of Portland, Pa.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be from 1 to 2 p.m., with a service to follow Saturday, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
Burial will be at Peck Cemetery, Scriba.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 237 E. Brown St., East Stroudsburg, Pa., 18301.
