FULTON, NY – Catherine M. Acquaviva, 57, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Ilion, NY, a daughter to Nicholas and Margaret Cowley Acquaviva.
Cathy graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School and worked for more than 20 years at Huhtamaki, in Fulton.
She enjoyed golfing, crocheting, camping and antiquing.
Cathy was predeceased by her father, Nicholas J.; and sister, Ann Nasca-Acquaviva.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret; three sisters, Mary (Gary) Clark, Joan Acquaviva and Peggy Acquaviva; five brothers, Nick II, Tom (Cindy), John (Sandra), Art (Mary) and Patrick (Linda); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 12, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, corner of Rochester and South Third streets in Fulton.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery on South Seventh Street, Fulton.
For those wishing, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Cathy’s memory.
