FULTON, NY – Clinton R. “Clint” Ylitalo, 87, of Scriba, passed away Saturday February 10, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Fulton to the late John and Rose Ylitalo on October 3, 1930, growing up in Pennellville and attending Pennellville Elementary School and Phoenix High School.

Clint served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during the Korean Conflict, returning home to work as a self-employed contractor.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and camping.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, John and Leslie and a sister, Verna Braddish all of the Phoenix area.

Clint will be greatly missed by his wife of 63 years, Elaine, of Oswego; sons, Eric Robert (Wendy), of Colfax, Calif. and Jeffrey “Jake” (Gail), of Fulton; daughter, Crystal Rose (Steve Houpt) Ylitalo, of Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, February 15, from 4 to 6 p.m. with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

Spring burial will be in Peck’s Cemetery, Scriba.
